The Amber scent is my favorite!

Some of my obsessions in life are room sprays, candles, and scented wall plug-ins! I really shouldn’t confess to how many candles I’ve bought in my lifetime, but it’s definitely a lot. One thing I really love about candles is that they’re great gifts for friends and family. I have several brands that I love which are Voluspa, Bath and Body Works, and Diptyque. Candles are therapeutic and wonderful for relaxing after a long day. I frequently light my candles when I wake up, and I light them various rooms throughout the day. I am sharing some of my favorites with you below.

I recently ventured out to the Diptyque brand and purchased a new candle from Nordstrom. The Diptyque store in the Houston Galleria carries all the fragrances, room sprays, and scents. I pretty much smelled them all and bought the Amber scent. I tend to go for darker or woodier scents with my candles. The Amber scent smells beautiful and I love lighting it in my bedroom. You can find these on Nordstrom’s website, Neiman Marcus’ website, and Diptyque’s website as well. The price point for these candles are a little higher as they are catered to luxury-seeking shoppers. I recommend you try a small size first which starts around $35.

Voluspa is one of my favorite brands. I’ve been buying the crisp champagne scent for almost five years. I have their candles, room spray, and diffusers. The candles smell beautiful and the price point is a little higher than other brands but not as expensive as high end or luxury candle lines. Nordstrom carries this line and a few other boutiques may carry their products, but the best way to get the candles is on the company’s website

Bath and Body Works is brand that carries so many wonderful home goods like soap, candles, room sprays, and a few decorative items. I frequently stock up on candles, room sprays, and wall plug-ins when they are on sale. Candles at Bath and Body Works are usually $25 or less, and usually a few times a year, they’re half-off. The two that I buy consistently are Mahogany Teakwood (high intensity) and Cactus Blossom. I normally light the Cactus Blossom or Champagne Toast scent during the day and the Mahogany Teakwood scent at night.
